Individual Therapy

Individual therapy can help you look at the problems in your life in new ways, and in turn, generate new solutions. I have a deep-rooted interest in human psychology, whether that comes in the form of a conversation I overhear at a restaurant, a classic book of literature, a professional seminar I may attend, the progress of one of my clients in therapy, or reading about a particular therapy method.

I have studied many of the field’s different therapy modalities such as Psychodynamic approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. I find there is great value for my clients when I am able to be informed by—and combine in a synergistic way—what some consider disparate theories and treatment modalities.
