Family can be a source joy and support, and great stress as well. Family therapy can help you get along better with, and feel more positively towards those who are in your family.
In family therapy small changes can often to lead to bigger changes. Similarly, even though a problem in a family may be somewhat complicated, that doesn’t necessarily mean that a complex solution is called for. In working with your family my goal will not just be to find the most efficient ways to help you deal with the problem at hand, but to help you learn ways to be more effective in solving other problems that might arise in your family in the future.
Issues you may be experiencing that family therapy can help with include: parent/child conflict, sibling rivalry, divorce, blended families, substance abuse, grief/loss, and family transitions.
